Print that is right down to the trim edge

From €39. That is the starting price for a sticker design; business cards and stationery start at €49, posters at €59, flyers and leaflets at €79 and a banner at €99. No design yet? Then the design work is added: €99 if you supply a logo or house style, €149 if we start from scratch. If you also let us print and deliver, that starts at €99, with the final printing costs depending on size, material, finish and quantity.

A print-ready file can go to press without intervention. It is at the right size, has at least 3 mm bleed all round so no white edges remain after cutting, is built in CMYK and has a resolution of 300 dpi. Typefaces are embedded or converted to outlines, and text stays away from the trim line. Not sure whether your file meets that? Send it over and we look at it before anything is printed.

Yes. When configuring, choose the option with a print-ready file and upload your PDF; you then pay nothing for design work. We do check bleed, resolution, colour mode and the distance from text to the trim edge. If something is not right, you hear about it before the order goes out.

Your screen makes colour with light, a printing press with ink. Bright screen colours, especially vivid green, orange and bright blue, come out calmer on paper. We convert your brand colours to CMYK and where necessary choose a value that stays closest in print. For a large run you can request a physical proof, so you see the result before the whole stack is printed.

For flyers and leaflets coated paper around 135 gsm works well: crisp in colour and light to ship. A business card you want sturdy, around 300 gsm or more, otherwise it feels flimsy. Uncoated and textured paper looks warmer and writes more pleasantly, coated paper lets colours come out deeper. We make a proposal based on what the print is used for and how long it has to last.

Digital printing works without printing plates, so small runs are cheaper and ready faster. Offset first requires preparation with plates, but becomes cheaper per item the more you have made. The tipping point is often somewhere between 500 and 1.000 items, depending on size, paper and finish. We choose the technique that suits your quantity and explain why.

Yes. With a folded leaflet the fold determines the layout. If the outer panels fold inwards (roll fold), the inner panel has to be a few millimetres narrower to close neatly. With a zigzag fold the panels stay the same width. We work out the panels at the right widths and supply a folding diagram, so the printer knows what goes where.

That depends on two things: how many rounds the design needs and which turnaround the print shop requires for your technique, quantity and finish. Folding, laminating and die-cutting are added as separate production steps. A physical proof in advance costs extra days, but prevents you from having a wrongly printed run sitting in the cupboard. Mention your deadline right away with the order, then we plan back from it.
